Elena is an excellent guide. The weather was not in our favor for our tour but she's so knowledgeable about the island she didn't hesitate to bring us to spectacular locations. This experience is a must do! The amount of story telling and facts are unmatched! Elena knows her stuff! I ended up having the experience all by myself and it was truly the best way to round out my trip to the azores.

Even though we look it in a week, that is impossible to see the main attraction we went to almost every part of the island to see what we could with that weather. Elena is a really great guide with a lot of information and experience.

We had the pleasure of hiring Elena for what started as a test trip, and we were so impressed that we immediately booked another tour with her! Elena has an incredible knowledge of São Miguel, Azores. She took us on the most beautiful hikes and showed us breathtaking spots we would have never found on our own.

I was visiting Sao Miguel with my mom, who has difficulty walking, but Elena made the experience absolutely smooth, accommodating, supportive, interesting and fun. She picked us up at an agreed time and from then on, the whole day was full of interesting and funny stories, amazingly beautiful places and tasty local food.
Elena is very friendly and she goes an extra mile to personalize the experience, goes along with the curiosities of the guests and is very knowledgeable about the island.
You can see how much she loves the island and enjoys the sites herself too, which allows the guests to savor and spend time appreciating the beauty without rush.
She spent more time with us than what we paid for and all that to make sure, we didn't miss seeing what she is so proud to share on the island.
We stopped for lunch at an amazing local restaurant, which offered a variety of sea food dishes at a very good price.
With a few interesting stops after, she drove us back home to Furnas.

Five stars, the tour with Elena was the best part of my travel!! I had a ~6hr layover at the island and decided to explore the area. Elena was very flexible with the pickup/drop-off time and location. She was an expert of the island and drove me to all the beautiful places and hidden view spots. She would talk about the culture and history of the island - I was never bored during the whole tour. Highly recommend taking a tour with her.

Elena is cool and feisty! The island was very foggy the day of our tour but Elena's story-telling, vast knowledge of the island including its history and bits of pop culture, made up for not being able to see past the fog at some of the stops. It felt like we were having a road trip with a friend!

Elena was a wonderful guide! I highly recommend anyone and everyone to book with her. She will make you fall in love with the island again after you already have with the places she takes you. Book her!
